Gerry Zack is an expert in the financial and strategic management of nonprofit organizations and associations. Gerry is nationally recognized for his seminars and publications covering the unique accounting, audit and tax issues of nonprofit organizations and is frequently praised for his ability to explain complex financial and technical issues and apply them to specific organizations.

Gerry is the founder and president of Nonprofit Resource Center. Since 1990, more than 15,000 participants have attended his seminars. In addition, Gerry has provided internal training on nonprofit accounting, auditing and tax services for more than 40 CPA firms and is frequently invited to speak at national conferences. Gerry is the auditor of the book, Fraud and Abuse in Nonprofit Organizations: A Guide to Prevention and Detection (pub. June 2003 by John Wiley & Sons). Gerry is also editor of the monthly newsletter, The Tax-Exempt Organization Alert! ® , which covers the latest accounting, tax and financial news affecting the nonprofit sector.

Gerry has conducted fraud investigations and provided expert witness testimony on behalf of nonprofit organizations that were victimized by fraud.

In addition to being licensed as a CPA in two states and the District of Columbia, Gerry is recognized as a Certified Fraud Examiner by the Association of CFEs and is one of only nine Fellows in the 40,000-member Association of CFEs.
