Maile Pa`alani Profile

Maile Pa’alani brings a unique mixture of auditing and accounting experience, as well as information technology skills to nonprofit organizations. Maile provides assurance services and process analysis to primarily nonprofit organizations. In her role as a Manager, she plans, implements, and provides user training and support for Sage MIP Fund Accounting (MIP) and Sage Fundraising 50 (FR50) clients. Maile helps MIP clients prepare for audits through a series of customized reports known as the “Audit Binder.” These reports make audits easier for both client and auditor. She assists her FR50 clients implement a system that gives them powerful management of their fundraising. She knows the regulations so well and has assisted organizations with customizing FR50 to help document in-kind donations and volunteer hours. Whether she is doing an audit, implementing a system, or creating a training plan, Maile’s goal is to help organizations increase the efficiency of their operations by seeing the big picture, then focusing on the details. Maile also spends time taking the years of knowledge
she’s gained and weaves that into the training curriculum. She feels
that real life examples are great tools in teaching new and veteran
technology users about new software. One of Maile’s most memorable
achievements was becoming the first Wisconsin Statewide Job Center
Coordinator. Her role was to
implement the legislation that brought together employment and training
services under one roof, as a “one-stop shopping” concept. The concept of the
