Karl Eck dedicates his time to performing audits of nonprofit organizations. He has worked with more than 30 different nonprofit organizations including CAP agencies that provide weatherization programs, energy assistance programs, and housing assistance, as well as Head Start agencies and Workforce Investment Boards. He has substantial experience completing and reviewing Form 990 returns as well as in-depth knowledge of OMB circulars.

With this knowledge, Karl helps clients navigate through the audit and issues such as the proper recording of transactions and uncovering solutions to mitigate findings. “Providing clients with a clear and concise picture of their finances gives them assurance that their organizations are functioning properly. If there are any issues, we can help solve them,” says Karl.

Karl prides himself on delivering his work in a timely manner. He remembers a particular client who had a short time frame on a project. Karl worked closely with the client, and together they came up with solutions and met the deadline. “I want clients to feel that they can rely on us to take care of their needs and concerns regardless of the circumstances,” he says.

Education

Karl has a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.
