ABOUT  THE  CONFERENCE
Your hosts, Howard Gesbeck and Steve Lipton, invite you to attend the 9th Annual Grant-Funded Programs Management Conference in Las Vegas!

Howard Gesbeck is nationally recognized for his comprehensive work with grant-funded programs, particularly his expertise regarding Federal regulations, Head Start regulations, and OMB Circulars.  He originally designed this conference as a forum for grant-funded program management teams to learn and share current knowledge pertinent to the achievement of their mission.

Steve Lipton has spent more than ten years working closely with grant-funded programs, helping organizations improve their operations by listening to their concerns, understanding the outcomes they desire, and helping them develop and implement solutions that meet their needs.

Currently we are working on 49 regular sessions and six special sessions. Many of these sessions are brand new.   Twenty-two experienced trainers will present subjects from six categories specifically designed to help grant-funded programs. Our
vast selection of workshops include both basic and intermediate levels. The conference will begin with an opening session for everyone on Tuesday morning, which will cover administrative information and a general regulations update.

In the conference schedule, sessions are color coded so you can easily identify a category then choose the sessions you wish to attend. Each time slot includes at least one session from each category.

At registration you will receive a Management Conference Binder to insert the materials you receive from each training session you attend.  Your session materials will be handed to you when you arrive at each session.  For your convenience, there are tabs in your binder reflecting each time slot so that you can put your materials behind the appropriate time.

All session materials will be available for attendees on this website after the conference through November 1, 2008.
